One problem I seem to get quite frequently, though: I get warnings about corrupt pristines that result in failed commits, e.g.: ,---- | corrupt pristine (failed inode signature validation) | archive: albert@tf.phys.ntnu.no--20040619 | revision: common-lisp-math--pde-1st-order--20040917--base-0 | directory | /home/gudrun/albert/tla/common-lisp-math--pde-1st-order--20040917/{arch}/++pristine-trees/unlocked/common-lisp-math/common-lisp-math--pde-1st-order/common-lisp-math--pde-1st-order--20040917/albert@tf.phys.ntnu.no--20040619/common-lisp-math--pde-1st-order--20040917--base-0 `---- Some googling suggests a connection with NFS (which is used here). I am not quite sure how best to proceed from here; in the past I checked out the previous version, copied over the files, and committed then, which is slightly tedious and, I suppose, not really necessary. Should I just delete everything under the listed directory as `tla changes --diffs` ,---- | You should remove this pristine from your tree. `---- seems to suggest, and is this safe? The last thing I want is to loose the data. TIA, Albert. _______________________________________________ Gnu-arch-users mailing list Gnu-arch-users@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-arch-users GNU arch home page: http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/gnu-arch/
