According to other emails, tla doesn't like non-ascii names (of course, it should really just exit saying "This file is bad" rather than this kind of error, but anyway...) Can anyone suggest what we can do to fix this? It's definitely not a case of modifying history. We do have non-technical people putting files into this tree (it's a website), but they're not supposed to touch any of the programming files. But people make mistakes.
