   Alfimp  is...  hard  to  describe. It's a collective, it's a movement,
   it's  a  cult,  it's  an  idea.  Or - it's a confused agglomeration of
   ideas,  uniting  around  an  indistinct  and  vaguely sketched central
   concept, which if I could describe in this sentence would make most of
   Alfimp's output thus far redundant, but which has something to do with
   society  and  the  individual, with community and altruism. It is also
   The Best Thing Ever.

   We  are, in essence, an activist group. We don't march, or liaise with
   the  media,  nor  do  we  break  windows  or  draw graffiti. We create
   low-tech, fragile public installations, generally involving trees, and
   encourage random anonymous members of the public to interact with them
   to  various  effects.  We  aim  to  intrigue and confuse, to inspire a
   derision  which  defuses  the derider, and ultimately to make selfless
   participation seem possible or even natural.

   We also just get a kick out of fucking with people's heads.
