Journeys in my Mind Great big rocket made of golden lockets, Purple submarines made of gray baked beans, Going into hyperspace, To play my part in saving the human race, Going deep down in the sea, To find my magic psychedelic pea, Great big planes made of broken cranes, Red diggers made of green knickers, Flying right round the sky, Just to find Bob.s meat pie, Digging here and digging there, Digging into the magic fair, These are the journeys of my mind, You're welcome to come and see what you can find. Philip Chillag - 1997 ----- For those interested, this was a poem I wrote for a regional school poetry competition called 'Journeys'. I wrote it when I was around 10 or 11, and looking back, I have you wonder if I was on drugs :o) When this poem was published, a line was missed out. I'm not sure why, but it is the line 'Digging here and digging there'. So now you know. Philip Chillag darksun@sdf.lonestar.org 05/03/04 .
