ORIENTATION DAY

The University organizes an Orientation Day in October each year at its two 
compuses in Kowloon Tong prior to the application period.  Prospective 
students are most welcome to attend.

The Orientation Day provides opportunities for secondary school students 
and non-school applicants to visit the University’s campuses and meet with 
the professors and students.  Through the orientation programmes, students 
can obtain first-hand information about the University and its admissions 
requirements to help them make the right decisions in selecting study 
programme choices. 

Participants can attend briefing sessions offered by the Faculties and 
Schools.  They will be informed of the features and activities of various 
degree courses and share the professors’ and senior students’ experiences 
in academic and career planning.  The Student Affairs Office will also 
introduce its many services in the areas of student amenities and 
counselling to all visitors.

Invitation letters will be sent to all local secondary schools in due 
course.  The public will also be informed of the event through announcement 
in local newspapers.
