V. STAFF DEVELOPMENT AWARD FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF The objective of this award is to provide administrative and professional staff members in the non-teaching offices of the University (at or above the rank of Administrative Officer (or equivalent)) opportunities for personal and professional development, through an attachment to another non-local university. There will be up to 2 awards in each academic year. Each recipient will receive a grant/allowance of up to $30,000, and the 1-month period of visit will be regarded as absence on duty. A proposal including details of the programme and the expected benefits to be gained will have to be endorsed by the Head of the applicant’s Office, before it is formally being considered by the Staff Development Panel. .
