VIII.   HEALTH SERVICES CENTRE

        The University provides on campus health service to staff via
        the Health Services Centre located on Level 5 of the Sir Run
        Run Shaw Building.  Under a contract with an external medical
        group, the Centre is staffed by a full-time doctor, a part-time
        doctor and a team of nursing staff. General consultation,
        medicine, and general treatment are provided to all students,
        staff and their eligible dependants at a nominal fee.  Referrals
        to specialist treatment are made if required.  Besides,
        exhibitions and seminars on health-related topics are organized
        on campus regularly.  The opening hours and consultation fee are
        listed as follows:

1.	Opening Hours:

        Monday to Friday                :  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
        Saturday                        :  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
        Sunday and Public Holidays      :  closed

2.	Consultation Fee:

        $20 (from 1 July 1999 onwards)
