VII.    WAI HANG SPORTS CENTRE AND DR. STEPHEN HUI SPORTS HALL OF
        HONG KONG BAPTIST UNIVERSITY

        The Wai Hang Sports Centre (WHSC) is a sports complex located at
        the end of Kam Shing Road.  The centre consists of a 25-meter
        outdoor swimming pool, a table-tennis room, a fitness room, a
        multi-purpose classroom, 3 squash courts, 2 roof-tennis courts
        and a multi-purpose hall which can be used for basketball,
        volleyball, handball, badminton and indoor soccer activities.

        Dr Stephen Hui Sports Hall (SHSH), located at the southern end
        of Shaw Campus in the David C Lam Building, is a unique multi-
        purpose sports facility.  The SHSH is designed and equipped
        for activities such as badminton, basketball, table-tennis,
        volleyball and gymnastics.

        Both centres are managed by the Department of Physical Education,
        and provide sports facilities mainly for physical education
        classes, university team training, extra-curricular activities
        and inter-collegiate sports competitions.  Staff are welcome to
        use the facilities.  Bookings can be made at the Reception Counter
        of WHSC seven days in advance.  Enquiries can be directed to
        2339 7010.

1.	Opening Hours :

	The centres are open throughout the year, except on some public
        holidays, which will be announced at the beginning of the first
        semester each year.  The opening hours are as follows :
		
	Monday - Saturday		8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
        Sunday                          12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
        Public Holiday                  10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

2.	Facilities Charges (for Staff):

        Basketball/Volleyball Court     $48/hr
	Badminton Court			$18/hr
	Squash Court			$18/hr
	Tennis Court			$18/hr
        Floodlight charges              $12/hr
	(5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)	
        Guest fee                       $22 per visit
	
	(Note: The above fees will be revised on 1 September 1999)
	Each full-time staff may bring three paying guests at any one
        time to use any sports facilities.
