I.      FACULTY AND STAFF ASSEMBLY

        A monthly Faculty and Staff Assembly is scheduled during the
        regular academic semester in the University Chapel.  All faculty
        and staff are welcome.

        Programmes of the monthly assemblies are planned and designed by
        the Chaplain’s Office.  Goals for the Faculty and Staff Assembly
        are:

1.      to cultivate a sense of community among the members of the
        University community;

2.      to expose members of faculty and staff to the claims of
        Christianity and to provide them with opportunities for personal
        response;

3.      to help cultivate an appreciation for and develop an understanding
        of various disciplines, including the Christian perspective of
        contemporary civilization: its cultural heritage, ideological
        and sociological values, and philosophical renewal and maturity;

4.      to enable members of faculty and staff to gain wisdom for personal
        growth;

5.      to assist in updating the University community by the dissemination
        of current University activities and developments.
