Contents of this directory:

  4.1r5-alphavms.tar - File containing the entire HDF 4.1r5 distribution. 
                       This includes the HDF libraries, include files, 
                       binaries, man pages, and release notes.

  utilities/ - Directory containing just the HDF binaries. (These can  
               also be found in the distribution file listed above.)


To obtain the HDF 4.1r5 distribution, 'untar' the distribution file:

        tar xvf 4.1r5-alphavms.tar
