Fitzy didn't empanel another Grand Jury - which he would have HAD to if he had any intention of indicting Rove - so Rove is scot-free and justtifiably safe despite the oodles of spin and slander that the left has tried to cover him with - and despite the aboslute SCREAMING (waaay beyond "cheering") from the stands of the liberal moonbat media: NYT, NBC, CBS, ABC, Matthews, etc.. to indict ROVE/ Fitzy did the right thing and IGNORED their wishful thinking...... Libby is "small fish" at best - and he'll BEAT the thin charges against him that have only to do with the Grand Jury Process and NOTHING to do with any crime of "outing an agent"..... There was NO indictiment for "leaking" or "outing" the name of a CIA agent - so THAT turned out to be the BS we always thought it was --- there was NO crime announced involving "leaking" or "outing" Wilson's slut-wife: so NONE Occured!! HUGE Vindication for the White House....... Fitzy is gonna polish his apple a bit and go home - Rove is free, Cheney wasn't even thought about, there WAS no crime concerning Plame-slut --- This was a HELL of a Good Day Bush - and now he's gonna shove Janice Rogers Brown up the asses of Shuuu-mah, Lay-he, Durbin and Kennedy ......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Smokin' version of Eyes to end 1st set. I don't normally think of this song as a 1st set closer, but it worked. Inspired FOTD@3 in 2nd set, followed by Victim@5 which was downright brutal, with drummer playing mostly toms with big mallets resulting in a muffled sound. They should drop this song. 2nd set seemed short to me. Sugar Mag seemed to start way too soon in the set. Lots of bady missed chords by Bobby throughout. As always, too much annoying sax. As always, Karan way too low in the mix. He's no replacement for Jerry, but can we please hear him play? Security was constantly roaming all over the place. $5 for a 12 oz. I didn't see a single drunk person there today. The only person I saw do anything out of line was a guy who climbed a pole and at first everyone was cheering the guy on because we thought he was trying to see the stage. Wrong. When the crowd saw that he was up there trying to steal a banner, he was pelted with rubber balls and water bottles and had to get down from the pole without the banner. He was then promptly arrested. We were only about a hundred feet in front of the stage and it was a nice celebration and a good day spent with my kid. I did tell him what you said, Ken, and he said, "but, Mom, you did try to make me into a Cubs fan, remember when I used to like Mark Grace and those guys? I think it would be wrong to look at all of these events as indicative of GWB sucks mentality. For me, the Katrina mess revealed patronage's ugly side. I see it where I work. It happens everywhere, and that doesn't make it right. When the shit hits the fan, you better hope that person you hired/recommended can do the job. Like I said, where I work (telecomm), I saw some real idiots promoted who are now calling the shots on a sinking ship. GWB won't be the last to make a stupid decision like this, but hopefully, we all now take governmental roles more seriously at all levels, including president. Sheehan provides a face for war casualties. I don't think she is a thorn. She should be viewed as a springboard for discussion on what cost are we willing to pay? I think that is healthy. I want to hear GWB defend the human cost. Personally, I think we are watching her go insane (not that I wouldn't if I lost a son), but I do think the media fixation is something akin to passing a car wreck slowly so you can take a look. Frist and Delay are bad Repubs. Bad! Bad! Miers? I still think there is some high level political games going on. We'll see who is ultimately confirmed. Honestly, I think the problem is GWB. Perhaps he will take a deep breath and be able to articulate how he will finish his term. >From a RWNWDH perspective, what I find *really* interesting is that Miller's story changed from the CIA report to the NYT op-ed. Did it or didn't it? Supposedly, the Senate report says so (?). Also, why not call him an idiot for bringing all this up publically? Obviously, he can do and say what he wants, but if he was really concerned about his wife's safety, why the op-ed. Oh, and yeah, I think Cheney outed Plame, but it will never be proven. How you can celebrate a member of our executive administration being indicted is well beyond me. Take a look at yourself Mark.
