I've been told that North is less crowded and just as nice. Anyone confirm? What bars with /blues/rock/rockabilly bands should I look for? In that price range, I'd point you to NHT, Paradigm or Monitor Audio. Although I just bought a used pair of Gallo Nucleus Micros (www.roundsound.com) for my office for $110 and I am *blown away* by'em. They only go down to 120 Hz, so a subwoofer is a must for home/theatre listening.
