I was thinking about that, Iron Muffin. My 24 year old niece would be more than happy to do it. The main issue there is that she would want to be in control of the music and it would be all emo, punk or rap for miles and miles. We'd have to lay down the law and be like, "Yo Katie, you get one song then the next four hours is all Grateful Dead, the Indigo Girls and Peter, Paul and Mary. Mkay?!"...But we will still need a masseuse and a errand boy, so yeah maybe we can still use ya. The rmgd females will take a vote. Dave Kelly may have mixed emotions about you being there though. Date: 11 Oct 2005 08:14:43 -0700 Paul Craig Roberts is a "paleoconservative", not only against neoconservatives on policy grounds but also due to his absorption of "nativism"--when Roberts says Anglo-American he is pretty darn literal about that Anglo-bit, for which you can read non-Jewish Caucasian. His abhorence of what he perceives as a non-American (religiously, politically, and ethnically) subversion of the originalist American constitutional foundations by an arriveste Zionist cabal willing to open up America's porous borders to the barbarian horde in exchange for propping up the ZOG-toy Israel, has lately inspired a profoundly libertarian understanding of civil liberties, at least when used to defend the actions of anti-Zionist stalwarts such as Lynne Stewart's client, who used, prosectors alleged, Ms. Stewart not only for legal representation but for operational assistance in hooking up with his cell network on the far side of the prison walls. Mr. Robert's rhetorical solicitude for Islamic radicalism's determination to free the Middle East from the boot of the ZIonist oppressor by any means necessary cannot, unfortunately, salvage "attorney-client priviledge" from the determination of radical attorneys to step outside of their legally defined function to play consigliere for wannabe terrorists. Nor can it completely obscure the anti-immigration ethnic valorism of paleoconservative theology. ------------------------------ From: "Roxanne McDaniel" Subject: Re: Anyone live near Greeley, CO? It was outdoors on a farm-like setting. Boy was it a blast! I have never seen these guys before, but had an awesome time. They started with a TLEO since that was the couple's theme, and totally rocked the house after. They did a nice Eyes, and even that Jewish song they play at weddings where they lift the couple up on chairs. Not to mention a couple attempts at some polkas. I was wondering how they would fit in with a wedding reception, but even the older crowd had a great time. I had to leave early, but I heard they played an acoustic set well into the night. Great music coupled with lots of Patron made for a fine evening. I spoke with the manager of the band, and he said a sbd will be making the rounds soon. There were a lot of heads there - anyone else go? ------------------------------ From: band beyond description <123@456.com> Subject: Re: Anyone live near Greeley, CO? I want to meet Neil because I've always been curious about what he looks like. I'd love to meet Sweets because he's nuts and I've also always been curious about what he looks like. too. I'd like to meet Sean just to see if he's as crazy in person, although I don't think he is. Roxanne because we've talked a little and she seems very sweet. Mark because he's done so much for me and listened to me talk about everything every day for ages now. The guy deserves a medal, at the very least, for putting up with me and being my friend through so much. Tom because he was my first friend here. Iron Muffin because I think he has to be one of the sweetest guys in the world. Richard because we think alike a lot of the time and he just seems like a great guy. Toad because he's another person who's listened to me and given me advice and just been a good friend. Joe for two reasons - one, I'd like to see if he's the same in person as he seems here and two, his friend, Geraldine. Booie, because he's booie. The other females of rmgd because they all seem as if they'd make great friends. The music was clean & neat, well organized between them all, they seemed to know what they were playing and were beyond tight. To me, this was a little wierd. When I first went to see them there were tons of "grey hairs" and families with children playing. It was a great scene. > The second thing I noticed is that they didn't make any mistakes. They used to be a LOT more loose and experimental, taking chances etc... That is the main reason I got in to them. > On > the other hand I'll have to listen to it again and see if maybe I was > just having an off night. call it an off couple of years, lol. I hear that it is getting better, here and there, let's hope they get the magic back. I've seen over 60 shows and have skipped the last 2 times they have come around locally. They just aren't doin it anymore. And not just for me, a LOT of old school fans echo the same feelings, a major reason you see a lot of youngins. The scene used to be riddled with deadheads. It was a very kind scene. This was ending right when Barlow went to see them for the first time and made his "the next Dead" statement. He caught a glimpse of what was. It's been all down hill since then. And the songs he calaborated on stink, lol. I have only seen them a handful of times since the statement. ------------------------------ From: DG Subject: Re: (NDC) Attention Yankee fans Date: Tue, 11 Oct 2005 09:59:16 -0700 Rogues Island's finest wrote: > >DG wrote: >> Kelly Humphries wrote: >> > >> >http://www.speakeasy.net/~kpisces/haha.wav >> >> >> Most Yanks fans realize this was an underachieving bunch.
