Unfortunately Bush's Christianity does all it needs to, which is get votes and pacify the masses. His "faith" does not hold up to any measure of scrutiny. Pledging allegance to such entities as the "Skull and Bones" and Halliburton is really (I'm thinking) NOT something Jesus would do! ------------------------------ From: "Effty" Crossposted-To: rec.music.phish Subject: Re: set your tivo for The History Channel tonight! Yes, it could be. The convention, however, has been to list shows according to the day upon which the show started. New Year's shows are not the only ones that went past midnight, as I recall. ------------------------------ From: Tom Beck Subject: Re: 9-21-72 Darkstar Date: Sat, 08 Oct 2005 20:26:30 -0500 Schmoe wrote: > ACK islander wrote: > >>Hi All, >> >>I've heard this Darkstar from 9-21-72 described as one of the top 5 >>ever played/recorded. > > > Once they pull a show from archive.com and release it thru GDP, does that > mean it will ever again be back up? I'm to the point where I pick and choose based on what I feel is a significant enough upgrade to warrant the expense. Having every official release is a quite costly proposition nowadays, and what significant gain is to be had when one already has a couple hundred or more shows on cdr? That said, I feel that the information age is to the GD's advantage as evidenced by the quick sellout of the Fillmore West limited edition Box Set. I think there are lots of younger fans just discovering the GD along with the Phish Phans who are now out of water and may be finally seeing the light, not to mention all of us old hippies who are rediscovering our youths. The bottom line is it's a win/win situation if you are into the dead this day and age. Tons of free shows are at your fingertips and more and more commercial releases as well. ------------------------------ From: "Bzl." Subject: Re: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass photos!
