This isn't the AUD on archive.org, but 10-21-83 Worcester mastered by Jeff Silberman : "Aud FOB, 2nd Row, Senn 441 mics 9 feet in air, 90 degrees off monitors. Senn 441 > Tech SV-100 PCM > DAT (digital transfer)" I haven't heard the version on archive.org, but this one smokes. ------------------------------ From: Paul Subject: Re: Shut Down The War Machine Date: Wed, 28 Sep 2005 19:40:33 -0500 Reply-To: ppouliotnospam@mchsi.corn On Wed, 28 Sep 2005 09:07:42 -0400, JimK wrote: >On 27 Sep 2005 23:01:04 -0700, "Ray" wrote: > >>DGDevin wrote: >>> "Ray" wrote: >>> > As JC noted, organizers of such events -- many of them, anyway -- make >>> > it clear to the media and to the anarchists that they don't accept or >>> > appreciate that kind of behavior. >>> >>> Sort of like announcing that we're not in favor of burglary and >>> crack-dealing and prostitution in our neighborhood but not actually doing >>> anything to really discourage it. From: Sherry Date: Thu, 29 Sep 2005 01:25:32 GMT He went off to visit his friend Andrew, all excited that not only did he have his very own newly minted license, but he was driving His Very Own Car! Woohooo! Just before 5pm the phone rang. It was Southwestern Vermont Medical Center - our local hospital. I thought I was going to have a heart attack - what happened, is he okaY!?!!!! Finally calmed down enough to realize they were called to get all my info for the mammogram scheduled for Thursday. Whew. Around 9pm I heard a car pull up, door close, and drive off. Tristan walks in soaking wet (raining past 2 days). His car went thru a puddle and stopped going... he turned it off and it wouldn't start. Local constable happened to be driving by and gave him a ride home (just over 5 miles). Went out with the jumper cables in my car to see if that works - that's the extent of my or Andre's "car help" experience. No dice. But about 6 cars stopped to see if we needed help. Naturally it was lightly raining right up until we got within 10 feet of his car, when it started to POUR. Went home to call AAA, Paul (our mechanic) and Daija (who works for Paul). Paul wasn't home, AAA said they'd be there in 45 minutes, and Daija said she thought it could be an air valve under the car or some such thing. AAA towed the car to Paul's. Paul just called and said "the good news" is that he has another transmission he's going to put in the car for nothing - aside from fluids and a gasket. It will take to about Thursday. I told him get used to those words "it's in the shop" - it's a part of car life. Tristan learned how to use AAA and I guess that's a good thing. Just didn't think it would be the FIRST time he drove alone! Sherry in Vermont ------------------------------ From: "Mizshely" Subject: Re: New Riders next week! Date: 28 Sep 2005 18:26:11 -0700 Bobby did some stuff with Norton Buffalo ( couple of cuts on Lovin' in the Valley of the Moon, etc.) and some recordings with Flying Circus. The Flying Circus stuff that's out there is, I think, when Bobby was still with Tiny Hearing Aid but you can check it out on the Nuggets from the Golden State series, if you are a glutton for garage band punishment. He also sang on Carlene Carter's "I Fell In Love" (What you wanna do that for), uncredited. ------------------------------ From: greek_philosophizer@hotmail.com Subject: Re: DeLay Indicted!
