Alert from the Washington State Department of Transportation -- 

As on ongoing project, crews will replace the steel grid deck on the
Montlake Bridge and seismically retrofit the bridge. Motorists can expect
occasional nighttime single lane closures in both the north and southbound
direction at the Montlake bridge between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
as crews deliver materials. The project is scheduled for completion by
fall of 1999.
