Patty has a catalog that we may be able to order from in the future. o We seem to have received our first piece of mail, a safe-sex comic produced by the People of Color Against AIDS Network (POCAAN), which showed up on the desk in the student organization office. o We all agreed that there is not enough time to plan anything else for Pride Week, but that a talk on legal issues in May sounds good. o Patty took our newly created mailing/membership list (thanks, Jackie) and is working on sending out flyers about Geoffrey Giles to everyone on it. o So far Patty and Jackie have volunteered to have dinner with Giles, but other people could participate as well. We talked about paying for this out of the group's budget by having individuals' pay and then be reimbursed from petty cash. o Patty will follow up with Tony about the Building Coalitions conference. o We agreed to go ahead with catering by Trish for Giles, with the addition of coffee, and have the food setup after he talks. Tony followed up with Trish and found out that she has to do setup beforehand, but will put the hot food out at the end. She can't do coffee, but we can get that through Starbucks. The cost including setup will be $10 per person, which still doesn't include tax or gratuity. Tony will get a revised invoice detailing the exact costs. Trish needs half the cost upfront, so Tony is looking into petty cash for that. Emily .
