Intro. to Spring Quarter 2. Officers Reports 3. Sectional Fellowship Report 4. Sectional Conference 5. Open Forum 6. O&O 7. Closing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Ryan welcomed everyone back and to the meeting. We had 3 visitors last night. Dave Corning and 2 interested pledges (Na and Cara) came. 2. Officers Reports: A) PRESIDENT-Our computer is almost ready. B) VP MEMBERSHIP-Rush went well. If you haven't turned in your info. sheet, please do so ASAP. Mary will take it, or leave it in her box in the office. C) VP SERVICE-Matt was gone, so Ryan presented it. Ryan read Matt's speech and announced upcoming projects. Sign up sheets were sent around. Dave interrupted Ryan to announced the MAY 10TH RECHARTERING OF GAMMA NU (Idaho). So, Ryan said we might plan a roadtrip that weekend. Contact Matt to sign up or for info. on projects. D) TREASURER-Amy passed around the bianual budget. The fundraising committee needs more people!!! Our chapter desperately needs money!!!! So, please sign up. You get service hours for being on a committee. Also, if you're interested in donating plasma for the chapter, please contact Amy. (Ryan is going to.) It takes 2.5 hours, and you'll get service hours and your blood back! :) We need up to 5 people to go and it's in Ballard. It pays $25/time and you can do it 4 times a month. E) SECRETARY-The student numbers are under control. I will turn in an updated list for Spring Quarter sometime next week. F) PLEDGE-We are ready for the new pledges. 2 people were there and Kelsey is done with RUSH. More interrupted business: 1. Rob asked if dues are due. -Yes, but we need to do a total. 2. Dave-the Pacific NW Alumni Assoc. is raising funds to cover 1/2 the nations dues for all chapters. And, next fall, they will cover $15 of the national dues for each person. 3. The sectional fellowship went alright. Briana and 2 alumni attended. Thanks. 4. The sectional conference needs 2 people to go to SU and inform them about the situation. (This was handled last night.) Sign up sheets for housing were passed around. Contact Rob if you can house people. The conference will cost $30, which covers all meals and the banquet. The banquet will be semiformal. However, if you do not wish to attend the banquet, it will cost $10. The theme is Servin' USA. People will arrive at Ryan's house from 4-8pm for a "movie party". Tees are $7. Registration will take place at 8:45am in Smith 102. At 10pm Saturday, the official events end. Sunday, breakfast will happen at I-HOP at 9am. If you are housing guests, Ryan recommends that you take them places around Seattle. 5. Open Forum-Leslie spoke about Kid Reach. A van leaves from McMahon Hall for those going. Contact Leslie for times and days though. A sign up sheet was passed around. 6.. No O&O's were done.
