(2) Bardic is on the 4th Friday, not the third this month (to avoid conflict with the Ensemble Alcatraz concert put on by the Seattle Early Music Guild). The following is the schedule for upcomming Bardic activities: Monday, October 16, 7:00--9:30 Instrumental Ensemble. At the home of Malice and Mustapha. Sunday, Oct 22nd, 7:00--9:00 pm Vocal Ensemble, at the home of Malice and Mustahpa (call for directions). Friday, October 27th, 7:30--late. Bardic at Danello and Calote's. Friday, November 17th, 7:30--late. Bardic at Trahern and Janelyn's. We will hold election for new overall head of bardic guild at that time. ---------------------------------------------------------- Guild Elections. I am currently accepting applications for head of the Minstrels' Guild. If you are interested please talk to me. Elections will be held at the November meeting. The current plan is to re-arrange the guild structure so that there will be one overall head and three deputies to run the three regular activities (bardics, instrumental and vocal ensembles). This will divide the workload (and reduce the necessary skill set) for the overall head. I am interested in know about people who are interested in any of those three positions (to put you name of the list of possible deputies, if naught else). ------------------------------------------------------------ My appologies to those of you who get this message multiple times. Currently, I am sending the message to 4 different lists: 1) The new Madrone list --- 2) The College of St. Bunstables list --- 3) The William's Gate list (this will be dropped next month). 4) Select individuals whose email I have who are interested in bardic activities. I will drop the William's Gate list next month, and if the overlap is considerable between the College and the Barony list, I will drop the college list as well. If you are on my personal list and would like to be on the baronial list instead, send email to (1) me telling me you are now on the Baronial list and (2) send email to listproc@u.washington.edu containing the line: subscribe Madrone () (The last two fields are optional and can be used to set whatever identifier you want). This is an automated server, so it won't understand complicated messages. To get off the list, send email to listproc@u.washington.edu with the message "unsubscribe Madrone" --Mustapha al-Muhaddith Russell Almond almond@statsci.com 782-7615 .
