So my answer is not appropriate. I usually use dante. When I want to read e-mail in Japanese, I use outlook express or MyUW e-mail. When I am using Outlook express, some characters change (I guess, outlook has segmenting problem with single bite and double bites character.) When I am using MyUW, it has not occurred.
