Yesterday we received the following message from NSF about the 1999
Graduate Research Fellowship competition:

The 1999 Program Announcement and application forms are now available.

1. To access the Announcement and forms on the Web, enter the NSF Home 
Page at URL: http://www.nsf.gov
Scroll down the page to the options bar and click on "Documents."
Click on "Search by Reference Number" and enter:  nsf98143
This Ref. No. will give you access to the Program Announcement in four 
file formats (HTML, MS Word, PDF, & ASCII Text).

Enter: fmgfkitd
for the Word for Windows instruction sheet and complete MS Word 
application forms kit.

Enter: fmgfkitp
for the PDF instruction sheet and complete PDF application forms kit.

Remember to save the files to a directory and open them in Word 
for Windows (.doc files) or in Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF files).

2. Graduate Fellowship materials are also available at the Fellowship

3. The FastLane application process, for direct electronic submission,
