The candidate should be an applied ecosystem scientist with an interest in spatial analysis and a background in physical and watershed processes or the dynamics, management, and conservation of ecological resources. Applicants should have practical experience with the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to the analysis of problems in natural resource and environmental management. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a GIS teaching and research facility which will support natural and social science approaches to the analysis and solution of resource management problems. She or he will teach graduate courses in the areas of GIS applications in natural resource management and in their area of interest. The successful candidate will direct graduate research and conduct a personal research program in a dynamic, multidisciplinary professional school. Relevant teaching experience is desirable.
