Lolla review Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Hello listers! After a loooonnnngggggg absense due to a computer meltdown resulting in a complete harddrive reformatting, the Shagman has returned with his promised half of the K.C. Lolla review. Because of the long delay, I'm sure most of you arn't interested any longer and Jenn (Unitshiftr@aol.com), John Franson, and the new lister in the ripped green Magnified shirt from Lee's Summit (sorry, I forgot your name) gave pretty much most of my review away. Here's the setlists to the show anyways: Mainstage 1. Saturday 2. Sgt. P. 3. Smoking Umbrellas 4. Pillowhead 5. Something 6. Wonder Life 7. Leo 8. Muffled Snaps 9. SOY 10. Nurse SECOND STAGE 1. Space Song 2. Solaris 3. Pillowhead 4. Saturday 5. Leo 6. Undone 7. Bernie* 8. Heliotropic 9. Wet Gravity 10. SOY ** NOTE: "Magnified" WAS on the setlist but was changed by Ken at the last minute to "Bernie" for some unknown and disturbing reason...not that I'm bitter. :P ** No really folks, the guys played a hell of a double-bill (even with a rough start on the main stage with rented equipment due to the psycho busdriver wheeling off with their equipment). They were much more relaxed on the Second Stage later in the day and Ken even called off security to let Jenn, my girlfriend, the green Magnified shirt guy (sorry again), and myself backstage for a brief chat with Ken and Troy. Also, the Nintendo 64 Challenge out of the back of the bus wasn't viable due to the fact of the guys getting a new bus and the game not being hooked-up yet. I'll just have to show them up on Mariokart 64 the next time they come to town three years from now (hopefully sooner)...to think I even brought my Mariokart cartridge to Lolla with me is insane, but hey, what the hell. Lastly, during Failure's main stage soundcheck (if you'd call it that really), one of the techs (Hutch I think it was, but I can't ever remember names worth a damn) walked down the asile and said "hi" to me but I was in a purple funk at the moment and didn't realize it until he had already passed...sorry, so please don't think that I was being an ass or anything. Ahhh, now all I can do is sit and wait for the band to return to the studio to get a new our going... - SHÆGGY .
