I feel I have to step in and regain control over the list: I am giving 
everyone until 8p.m. (11 Eastern) to get their Tolstoy cum chicken and 
road fantasies out of their system. After that any mention of 
the above subjects, particularly the last two, will be prohibited. I 
realize we do need a comic relief now and then, but I suggest we pursue 
this discussion on a different arena. How about sending all your 
suggestions to Amarilis -- chekov@u.washington. edu -- since she opened 
this can of worms for us! GD.
