Simmons" Subject: Recent postings There have been several posts in response to the one post about that govenor. I, too, am only interested in GIS issues (in fact I live in Chicago, so they do not have to be Washington specific) so none of this squabbling is of interest to me. I am surprised that after about 2 weeks on the list, this was the most acivity on any one topic .I think we should agree to post GIS related things (and I believe the "offender" apologized for the misposting). Complaints, while important, are just as distracting as off topic posts. I am very new to GIS and am very interested in applying it tom my work as an epidemiologist at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Since I am new to the list, perhaps I missed a lot of discussion on GIS issues. Is there an archive file of past postings I can retrieve? What are some of the issues you have worked with? If we want to keep the list focused, lets post. Perhaps one day I will have something to contribute. :) Thanks Cristal Simmons cristal@ripco.com .
