Position Opening Immediately: Administrative Assistant Medical Research Non-Profit Organization (501c3) Flexible, part-time, variable hours (average 16-20 hours/week). The NorthWest Orthopaedic Institute is a non-profit organization located in Lakewood, WA, that conducts musculoskeletal research and education. The specific aims of NWOI are to provide medical research, public education, and professional education to improve the health of those with musculoskeletal conditions. This is a great opportunity to become involved with a growing community-based medical research non-profit organization. Duties: Maintain files, manage correspondence and bookkeeping, and assist with marketing, public relations, professional presentations, event management, fundraising, and development. Coordinate & schedule organization activities, including Board meetings. Coordinate & assist with semi-annual newsletter, help maintain website content. Potential opportunities to assist with research projects (assist with grantwriting, data entry, phone screening, etc.), exist if interested. Other duties as assigned & as interested. Will work under direction of an RN (UWT alum) & MD.
