I wanted to reply to Rick in particular as well as the list in general, as I have received a couple of inquiries about men attending the women's rides. I certainly don't want to step on anyone's toes, nor to pre-empt Rick's prearranged ride. The 1:30 ride that I have announced is not meant to replace Rick's, but rather to offer an additional option to women who have been riding together recently. The question of whether men can ride with the women is a difficult one that I haven't yet pondered. The purpose of the women's rides was to offer an alternative (and a haven) to those who occasionally wish to ride with other women rather than the team as a whole. But the intention was not to be exclusive. I'm open to input on this question--please post replies to the list rather than to me personally so we can discuss it as a team. Thanks--Mary Kelly On Mon, 27 Nov 1995, Richard Vanhoff wrote: > i feel slighted. thursday @ 1:30 is MY ride! so MEN, if your > interested, we can go on our OWN ride Thursday @ 1:30, go where WE want, > and talk about the women behind their backs!!! > > "are you man e-nuff?? > big and badd e-nuff??" > -The Four Tops > > if your answers to The Four Tops' questions are 'yes', i'll see you > thursday. > > -rick > > On Mon, 27 Nov 1995, Mary-Kelly Persyn wrote: > > > > > Hi all.
