My USB hub is crap. When I tried using the Nex IIe with WinXP, it failed shortly into the download just as before, but when it did I noticed that my scanner reset. Then I remembered that I had this same problem with my Handspring: the USB hub would reset all devices in the middle of a download. My camera doesn't have this problem going through the hub, I don't know why. In any case, bypassing the hub and going straight into the machine solves the interrupted download problem. I'm now able to mount the thing, copy files and do whatever. I'm encountering a new problem with subfolders in subfolders, but I highly doubt it's Linux-related, so I'll take that to the Nex II community forum. Thanks for your help, and thanks again for the recommendation! (No sarcasm, I really do like the Nex IIe, despite its problems. :) -- Dan On Fri, 2002-11-29 at 21:56, Mark L.
