Flores" To: Alternate APO Listserve , Subject: Important Issues Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII To the Whole Chapter, I'm not really in a leadership position for you to actually heed my words and follow what I say, but what I'm about to say concerns all of us and there are many who feel the same way... All of us are now on two list serves. The alternate listserve where we can talk about anything NON-OFFICIAL apo related and the OFFICIAL apo listserve. I personally don't have apoga-s filtered to my apo folder because it doesn't really have anything to do with apo, but I do with apoga. And here are the issues: 1. APOGA-S@u.washington.edu is the alternate APO listserve. There really shouldn't be any official business sent through it. Please send official APO business like any minutes or information you feel the chapter as a service-fraternity should know through the APO listserve at APOGA@u.washington.edu. Information that would be appropriate for this listserve can be anything from concerts, get-togethers, lunch or even working out at the IMA. 2. APOGA@u.washington.edu is our OFFICIAL listserve and we're currently getting them forwarded with unneccessary information. Please use courtesy when sending an e-mail and either reply or forward your informaion to the respective and appropriate officer. What you SHOULDN'T do is just hit reply, which replies to the whole list. In other words it's like the rest of us are hearing your personal conversation. This is information that we can live without. Well, those are the two most important quirks that we're all getting hit with and I'm sorry to be so harsh (it's not my personality!), but please respect the appropriate listserve. The rest of the e-mail is basically considered as spam and it's unneeded information that clutters our inboxes. peace, .
