First of all, to date I have raised over $4300 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! THANK YOU to all who donated! Secondly, it wouldn't have happened without all of the great help I got during the event, from people riding with me to those who staffed the aid station. And finally, drumroll please..... I rode 22 laps around Mercer Island in 25:08 (13.5 miles each = 297 miles). You might say, "I thought it was a 24 hour ride, why 25 hours?" Well, I came in on lap 21 at 3:42 pm Saturday just before the 24 hours was up, so I got to do another lap (although slowly). Also, this gave me the chance to get 300 miles.
