(NFC) hey, i was reading a message from someone (i forgot who) that i think said that triple fast action's guitarist wouldn't play at a show they did with fig dish, local h, and veruca salt. well, i e-mailed their record label, and they gave the reason why t3a's guitarist was not at that show: "he just started a new job and could not get off two weeks of work two days after starting, so scott lucas from Local H decided to help out and play for the TFA/Veruca Salt tour." so he's still with the band...(sigh). they just put out a new record on deep elm records that everyone needs to check out. a great emo-pop band..... also, there was discussion about treble charger. those guys are some of the friendliest guys i've ever met....they let me sit with them at their table to watch and heckle swell, who played after them a while back at the lizard & snake cafe in chapel hill, nc! they now have a new drummer, and he's really cool. their second album, "self-titled" is on sonic unyon records....one of the coolest indie labels around now, and it's cd enhanced with like over an hour of videos from lots of other lesser known canadian bands. the enhanced part will not work on my computer, though. :( anyways, check 'em out. they just released a new cd on a major label whose name escapes me at the moment...it's a good record... speakin' of sonic unyon....check out a band called tristan psionic. they are the guys that started this label, and they have a really cool sound....sometimes they remind me of pavement if that helps... can anybody tell me whatever happened to these two canadian bands?: 1. mudgirl 2. furnace face i heard a couple of good songs by each band, but i cannot find out if they have released anything besides 7"s. there's some canadians on this list now....help me out, please.... thanks... http://www.insidepitch.com Brian34295@aol.com dead to the world .
