Wilson's (1993) book called "The diversity of life" (Penguin). Wow! what an experience. I wish I had access to the book as an undergraduate - it certainly would have changed my outlook on conservation at an early stage. PS I will be in Washington in July 1995 - I could certainly present a lecture on an African perspective on wildlife conservation. Please convey this to the Professor. I will forward my CV if he wants to see that first.
