The exhibit is titled, Endurance, and it is a video art show that was filmed and photographed in downtown Seattle for 25 hours during August 2002. It involved 26 homeless young people who were a part of the organization Peace for the Street by Kids From the Streets (PSKS), a homeless youth organization on Capital Hill that requires kids to get actively involved in their transition from street life to living active lives in their communities. The kids received a grant and they collaborated with Bradley McCallum and Jacqueline Tarry to create this project about the struggles of living life on the streets. Attached is the direct link to the Seattle website, there is also a link from that page which will take you to more details about the video art production and those who were involved in process of creating it. PSKS is a wonderful organization, and the kids are very excited about this exhibit and the possible of it bringing some understanding to the larger community about the issues surrounding homelessness and the rights of all individuals. http://www.cityofseattle.net/arts/showcase/cityspace.asp This electronic message transmission contains information which may be confidential or privileged.
