To: change-l@u.washington.edu Message-Id: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; CHARSET=US-ASCII On Wednesday morning (9/28/94), all uniform access hosts will have the nosuid option set for all golding file systems. This will prevent setuid programs that exist on golding nfs file systems from changing their effective uid. In order for the change to become effective, all client systems will need to be rebooted, which will be scheduled through the following week. By 10/5/94, all uniform access systems will have been rebooted. This change will impact very few users. Users that are impacted should be passed on to the unix guru. .
