Juliana ---------- From: Amy Loskota[SMTP:ivyl@elwha.evergreen.edu] Sent: Tuesday, October 21, 1997 3:23 PM To: steps Subject: College Council at Twelfth Night Dear College Seneschals, and incipient colleges of An Tir(Please FWD) I, Gaelis of the CleverHands, deputy Seneschal of the College of Wittanhaven and Minister of the Arts and Sciences invite all colleges to send delegates to Twelfth Night in Dragonslaire this January. With correspondence between colleges, we can arrange a time to discuss the needs, responsiblities, and capabilities of the Colleges of An Tir. I believe that by working together we can share our experiences in dealing with the relation between Mundane college politics and SCA Inc practices to make a An Tir policy for expenditures, funding, and recognition of SCA branch colleges. This will make it easier for new branches to recieve official status and old branches to create a continuous practice of business. The College of Wittanhaven will extend our expertise in trip planning, purchasing college equipment such a pavilions, and working with the surrounding baronies. I would also like to see that all colleges will demonstrate a good example by upholding the code of An Tir, specifically the alcohol policies and minor involvement policies. I hope this will happen and we all can get to know our contemporaries, the next generation of the Society for Creative Anachronism. Sincerely, Gaelis of the CleverHands office (360-866-6000 ext,6412) .
