I have thoroughly tested it and used it for several projects with excellent results. I have been handing out county level data for those who requested it but if you have the $300 or so I would recommend a copy. I am using it with my desktop GIS package, Maptitude. The GeoLytics product has an excellent mapping package but is not a GIS. However it allows the export of both boundaries and data which can be used in MapInfo or ArcView. (I use these as well and it works in these; Maptitude can read ArcView & Mapinfo files) The maps it makes are quite good and it has 1997/2002 projected data for lots of income, population, consumer items.
