The newest release also converts value labels/formats between SAS/SPSS/S-PLUS. Conceptual is a small company, Henry is the owner/programmer and has been very responsive to requests to support new file formats, etc. An upcoming release will incorporate/update his earlier product DataMuncher, an excellent crosstab builder/explorer, w/ HTML publishing. SAS to SPSS, ACCESS to SAS, etc., check out http://www.conceptual.com/ I cannot imagine not having this product. I guess there are others that are similar but this one is the one I have and it has never failed me. I use SAS as my main database/programming/stat analysis engine. Now I need to convert the files to something else. I like to use SPSS and SYSTAT, and S-PLUS for their great graphics, this package converts almost anything into something else of your choosing. They have other things to that GISers will like to know about. DBMS/HTML allowed you to raid data tables right off the Internet and then you can link them to you coverages with the GIS of your choice. Dick Hoskins .
