Peter Green is doing some work on Diodorus Siculus-- rehabilitating 
him as a historical source, and opposed to a traditional chorus of 
criticism (e.g., from the OCD entry, "[Diodorus'] work is 
undistinguished, with confusion arising from the different traditions 
and chronologies, a compilation only as valuable as its 
authorities"). He gave a talk here at BGSU last fall entitled _The 
Enigma from Agyrium_ which was pretty interesting.
