I'm a pediatrician interested in applying GIS to child survival and family planning activities overseas. I've recently started ESRI's online ArcView course, but I will need to learn how to create and manage a database from scratch. Do you know if the CDC, NASA or WHO/UNICEF's HealthMap would be willing to train someone like me? If not, any other ideas? Thanks a lot. Following your threads with great newbie interest.
