First detail: as far as I'm concerned, the list subscribers have no reason to be "hidden." I assume that subscribers can be of all colors, persuasions, and types of queerness, and that too much paranoia shoots the organization in the foot. Or whatever. Second, do not forget to consult a film professor for ideas about films to screen! Third, on that same topic, my Women Directors class will be screening a wild and wonderful classic of feminist filmmaking, which any member of the Pride Coalition would be interested in seeing, this Monday Feb. 5, at 7:30. The film is BORN IN FLAMES, by Lizzie Borden. It's a futuristic fantasy (although it looks uncannily like the present) set in N.Y "after the revolution". Our class meets in the Tacoma Securities Building, room 529. Anyone wanting to see this film is welcome, as long as you arrive ON TIME so as not to disrupt the screening. Hope to see some extra faces! .
