The Relay For Life is an event that aims to unite the UW community in the fight against cancer, to honor those in our community who have survived this disease, and to remember and celebrate the lives of those who did not. This year's event will be held on May 21-22 in Husky Stadium and we hope to raise $150,000 for the American Cancer Society. One of my goals for this year has been to increase involvement in our event by reaching out to the various academic programs on campus. Due to the size of UW, this is an enormous challenge. I am writing to you to request your help in spreading awareness about our event.
