The committee, representing a wide range of interests including multiple levels of government, academia, NGOs, and the private sector, grappled with these complex issues for over a year before presenting their recommendations. The committee believes these recommendations will lay the foundation for a statewide blueprint for conserving biological diversity. Join us to learn about the background, recommendations, and science, and policy behind the Washington Biodiversity Conservation Strategy.
