TRIBAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS SURVEY

Are you familiar with the telecommunication services available to your 
Indian reservation, Alaska Native village, or Native Hawaiian community?

The Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), a bipartisan independent agency 
of the U.S. Congress, is conducting a survey of telephone, cable and 
broadcast TV, computer conferencing, videoconferencing, wireless, and other 
telecommunication services available (or not) in selected Native American 
areas.  The survey is part of a larger OTA study on telecommunications and 
Native American cultural preservation, education, community wellness, 
economic development, and governance.

OTA is looking for volunteers who live on or near Native reservations, 
villages, and communities, and who are interested in compiling information 
about the telecommunication services available in those areas.  If you are 
interested, please send an e-mail to OTA via internet attention 
kbrietbach@ota.gov, or by fax to Karla Breitbach at 202-228-6098, or by mail 
to Ms. Breitbach, OTA, U.S. Congress, Washington, DC 20510-8025.  Please
