This is a message to all who are not braving the wilds of north-central Oregon this weekend. Looks like a bunch of us will be going down to do this, so send me some mail if you are interested in carpooling, or else make arrangements to get there. Note: The pre-registration has to be mailed either today or tomorrow to save the $3 late fee. - Ta Here's the important info from the flier: ============================================================ The Course: Test your skills against the 25.5 mi downhill along scenic Highway 410 [this is the last 25.5 mi of RAMROD for those who know it]. Race is a point-to-point time trial event. Starts above Greenwater at FS Road 73 with the finish into downtown Enumclaw. Proceeds to benefit the Special Olympics. Registration: >From 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the parking located at railroad and Stevenson in downtown Enumclaw. PRE-REGISTRATION: By May 17 ($15); after May 17, $18. Mail standard release form to: Enumclaw Parks & Recreation 1339 Griffin Ave. Enumclaw, WA 98022 Checks payable to: SPECIAL OLYMPICS T-shirts are provided with the registration fee, so indicate shirt size when pre-registering.
