No kilo or pursuits at nationals this year. "New Program" some coaches have been voicing concerns to USA Cycling and have been ignored. If the 'program' bothers you, let me know. I'll package everything from all the coaches/individuals and send it on to Velo News. At least it would let people know what is going on and it might help come to a compromise NEXT year... i will attatch the Colorado coach's e mail to me for you to read pass this on to you tem and let me know if anyone is concerned thanks don Colorado response follows: Subject: NCCA Track Nats To: dsaroff@ucla.edu I am deeply concerned with the "new and improved" format of the '99 Collegiate Track Nats. I have heard that there will be no Kilo, or pursuit (team or individual) and that the format will be more Grand Prix style with mass start events and a three-up sprint format. This deviates from the classic olympic events and requires a considerable degree of mass start track experience. I would be in favor of a compromise and I have sent many emails to USA Cycling regarding this, without any response what so ever. Please keep me advised of any developments that arise regarding this issue. Sincerely, Trevor Young Track Cycling Coach CU Cycling .
