The most accurate is a geocode against a complete address, and there are a number of products that can do that. If you're looking for a one-off solution and you're satisfied with zip centroids, you can perform a 'point-in-poly' analysis in a tool like MapInfo Pro. This is a fairly quick and painless task, and I'd be happy to advise how you might go about this if you were using MapInfo and had zip & county data. Basically the answer depends on what software & data you have available to you (or budget). Keep in mind, too, that zip code vintage can be an important factor.
