These can be helpful if you're interested in something smaller= than the entire state's block coverage (42 MB from the WA site), and th= e presumably even larger statewide TIGER roads files. The ESRI site requires registration, but has free shapefiles for a wide= variety of distinct layers, either by county or for an entire state, a= t: http://www.geographynetwork.com/data/tiger2000/. There's also a link = to this from the TIGER 95 page mentioned in a posting to this list last November.
