I will formalize them or not depending on the response I get. More specific info. will follow if they are formalized. Nov 8: This project starts at 9:45pm and you get dinner. This is simple stuff just packing stuff into boxes and putting them on a truck. The stuff is decorations from an auction benefiting a homeless shelter held earlier that day. I am told it will be between 1 and 1.5 hours. 5-10 people are needed. It does not matter if you are male or female or even if you are very strong. The stuff is not heavy they want volunteers to make the work go faster. Nov 22: This is benefitting the same people as above but in a different place. 4 people are needed to clean a office and to paint a hallway and waiting room from 10am-1pm. All equipment provided. I am using these projects for jump start points to habitat for humanity projects (if I recall correctly there was some interest in doing them). The response for these projects will determine what kind of habitat projects we will sign up for. The more responses I get the more I will try to get a project for most or all of the group to do together. If you would be interested in doing these projects e-mail me ASAP so I can get it all put together. P.S. I know one of the members is active in the UW chapter of habitat. Please e-mail me with info. on how to contact you so we can talk.
