They changed their MV license to VA but immediately licensed it in Washington upon their return in February. The student kept her Washington driver's license (and actually renewed it in Washington while residing in Virgina). The husband's DD214 lists Washington as his home of record. The student has a Washington voter's registration card. Their bank accounts are Virginia. My thoughts are that she did not sever her ties--especially since she renewed her Washington driver's license while in Virginia. What do you think? Janelle Miner, Registrar Whatcom Community College .
