I am looking for studies that concern the use to which teachers have put
their own or others' on-line learning materials - in the field of classics
in particular would be great, but the articles can cast a wider net than
that. I am also interested in the developemtn and benefits of this new
culture of sharing teaching/learning materials through institution walls
(i.e., web-posting a hyperlinked on-line syllabus that hyperspatially brings
in expert guest speakers from all over the world). I am also curious about
how it can be determined if the use of on-line teaching materials (visuals,
audio, hyperlinked articles, interactive exercises...) enhances student
learning.

I am *not* looking for studies concerned with the relative benefits of
on-line courses or distance learning.

I am also trying to find grant sources that support website development,
assuming the conclusion that these *are* worthwhile endeavors.

Any suggestions? Places I can go to learn about these things?
